Hope House Barrie is a "Transformational" Housing Programme for Men.
We exist to help people to become everything they were created to be.
"Transformational Housing" means that we provide residents with the skills that they need to learn to live independently, particularly as they recover from trauma and addiction. Clients agree to a wrap-around, case-management programme that we refer to as "the programme", and not just housing. The opposite of homelessness and poverty is connection, and we emphasize an intentional connection within supportive community.
For more information about addiction and trauma recovery, go to our partner site at Hope Barrie.
For more information about housing, please message us here or call Hope House at 705-503-HOPE (4673), and we will contact you with details.

ALL ABOUT GROUP PROGRAMMING:
We have a team of professional, accredited counsellors and registered therapists who work independently and who partner with us to help you to walk toward freedom.
Our team uses proven psychological methods using licensed group session material. The majority of the programming involves live, in-group psychotherapist-led group therapy, group activities for community building such as a daily community lunch and other weekly programming options through Hope Barrie, and individual psychotherapy sessions.
Our programming consists of daily, in-community group sessions every morning. A critical component of recovery is community, and we foster community-building with a lunch programme and other opportunities and pathways in our faith-based environment to connect to and to surround yourself with a healing and hopeful community.
All of our programming information has been moved to our partner site at Hope Barrie.
Please complete this contact form, or drop in and see us, to be contacted for an intake interview for our next session.
